Strong for Life is run by Karl Salau. This policy explains what we collect when you sign up for the 30-Day Mobility Tracker and challenge, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We keep it short and we keep it honest.
What we collect
- What you type into the form: your first name, email address, your dog's name and your dog's age.
- What you send us: anything you choose to share when you reply to an email, such as your dog's scores, photos or videos.
- Email activity: whether our emails are delivered, opened and clicked. Our email provider records this automatically.
- Website activity: basic visit information, such as the page you viewed, your device and browser, and whether you signed up. This comes from cookies and the Meta Pixel (see below).
We don't collect payment details, and we don't ask for sensitive information.
How we use it
- To send you the tracker and the daily challenge emails you asked for.
- To send you a weekly email after the challenge, and news about our dog health products, including the founding-member presale.
- To personalise emails, for example by using your dog's name.
- To reply to you and to learn what helps dog owners most.
- To see how well our ads and pages work.
We will only share your story, scores, photos or videos publicly if you give us permission first.
Who we share it with
We never sell your information. We share it only with the services that help us run Strong for Life:
- MailerLite hosts this website, stores our email list and sends our emails. See MailerLite's privacy policy.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) receives visit and sign-up information through the Meta Pixel. We use it to measure our ads and to show them to people likely to be interested. See Meta's privacy policy.
We may also share information if the law requires it.
Cookies and the Meta Pixel
Cookies are small files your browser stores. The Meta Pixel is a small piece of code on our pages. Together they tell us when someone visits a page or signs up, so we can see whether our ads work. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also control how Meta uses this information for ads in your Facebook ad preferences.
How long we keep it
We keep your details while you're subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you. We keep only your email address on a "do not email" list, so you aren't added back by mistake. If you ask us to delete your information, we will, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe any time: every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom.
- See, correct or delete your information: email us at [email protected] and we'll reply within 30 days.
Depending on where you live, you may have more privacy rights under your local laws. Just ask, and we'll help.
Keeping it safe
Your information is stored with MailerLite, which uses industry-standard security. Only Karl can access our account. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care to protect what you share.
Children
Strong for Life is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you think a child has signed up, email us and we'll delete their details.
Where your information is processed
We're based in Australia and serve dog owners in the United States. MailerLite and Meta may process your information in the United States, the European Union and other countries.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll tell you by email.
